Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Oil City, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Proposed work includes the reconstruction of concrete sidewalks, curbs, ADA ramps, and related work such as concrete removal, traffic control, seeding, etc. The project will further include the coordinated removal and replacement of the street light poles surrounding Town Square. A certified check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to 10% of the bid, payable to the City of Oil City, shall be submitted with the bid. A non-collusion affidavit is necessary. After contract award, 100% performance and payment bonds will be required. This project is funded through a Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Relevant Federal Regulations including prevailing wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring, and MBE/WBE/Section 3 participation apply as outlined in the contract documents. The City of Oil City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the bid as is most advantageous to the city. No bidder will be subjected to discrimination in consideration for an award. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and bidders.
