Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes demolition of two (2) welded steel water ground storage tanks. The Hillsdale ground storage tank and Mt. Joy ground storage tank are 1,200,000 and 100,000 gallons respectively. The project includes demolition, hauling and proper disposal of the steel in accordance with local and state regulations. The project will be based on a lump sum bid for demolition, hauling and disposal of the two (2) welded steel tanks, as descripted in the contract documents. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bank Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond naming as payee the Clearfield Municipal Authority in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid amount as security for proper execution of the Agreement and furnishing other contractual documents. The Successful Bidder must execute an Agreement and furnish performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price and on the respective forms provided in the Bidding Documents. The Clearfield Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or items therein, to waive any defects or irregularities in the Bids, and to accept any Bid which, in its judgment, is in its best interest. Bids shall remain open for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of Bid opening. No Bids may be withdrawn, except when the Bidder complies with the withdrawal requirements of Act No. 4 of the General Assembly of Pennsylvania, Senate Bill 793, Printers No. 1655, as amended.
