Renovation of a municipal facility in Madera, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Reference Number 0000325469 On January 2022, the County of Madera was selected to receive a donated steel beam by Sims Metal Management from the wreckage of the tragic events of September 11, 2001 in New York City. In order to honor all the people and first responders who lost their lives during that tragic event, as well as local fire men and women who have lost their lives serving the County of Madera, the County is wishing to build a memorial at historic Courthouse Park. The memorial is set to be located between the historic museum building and the World War II and Korean and Vietnam Wars Memorial. Temporary construction fencing shall be part of scope of work. Contractors and/or subcontractors who wish to donate all or portions of labor and/or materials, will be recognized in the memorial.
