No A new Energy Reduction Management Project has been approved for healthcare sites within Winnipeg. The funding for this project is Energy Management (EM) Funding. The purpose of this RFP is to secure one Supplier to provide engineering solutions for measurement and investigation services, design modifications to existing systems or additional systems that will reduce energy usage and costs to operate the facility that are approved under initial EM funding. Some examples of engineering solutions that may be pursued with Energy Management Funding include, but are not limited to: 1. Analysis & Recommendations 2. Incentive and Funding Application Support 3. Energy Engineering Solutions 4. Monitoring Services 5. Engineering Modeling Services 6. Existing Building Commissioning Services 7. Energy Auditing Services30, 2027 8. Project Management Services 9. Design & Prime Consulting Services Services are further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). Projects that are funded by EM funding that are part of an existing project or part of a larger capital or safety & security project may fall out of scope of this Agreement and the Purchaser may use existing agreements or go to market at their sole discretion. Should additional funding for energy management projects beyond the initial EM funding be secured for sites within Winnipeg or for sites outside of Winnipeg in the province of Manitoba, this Agreement may be extended to those sites; however, the Purchaser may go to market at their sole discretion. The term of the Agreement is five (5) years with the option to extend for one (1) option term of two (2) years. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
