Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Manassas, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 60,000-square-foot, one-story above grade, eight-bed detention facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of November 8, 2023, per owner, this contract has been cancelled. *The previous closed solicitation is listed below for reference. The Prince William County Department of Facilities & Fleet Management is seeking proposals from qualified Architectural and Engineering Design Firms for Design and Construction Administration Services associated with the Prince William County Capital Project entitled "Juvenile Services Center (JSC)". The Juvenile Services Center and the Patrick D. Molinari Juvenile Shelter will be co-located at: 14873 Dumfries Road, Manassas, VA 20112 (GPIN: 7991-09-6721). Phase I: The Juvenile Services Center (JSC) will be an approximately 41,000 square-foot / 32- bed, Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) approved facility that will include 8-beds to serve the DJJ Community Placement Program (CPP) as well as space for the Juvenile Services Administration. This structure shall be physically attached to the new Patrick D. Molinari Juvenile Shelter constructed during Phase II of the project. Phase II: The Patrick D. Molinari Juvenile Shelter will be an approximately 19,000 square-foot/ 20-bed building, constructed to replace the existing County-owned shelter presently located at 8642 Wellington Road, Manassas, VA 20109. This structure shall be physically attached to the new JSC constructed during Phase I of the project. Exact square footage and bed count of the new facilities will be determined during the design process of the project (the figures included here are supplied as an approximation to assist in design proposal preparation). Both proposed buildings will be designed following a shared campus model. Shared facilities shall include laundry, medical, and kitchen / food preparation areas. This will require a detailed phased plan approach during the design process of both facilities to ensure basic services are not interrupted during construction. The County reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to make determinations relative to potential conflicts of interest on a project-specific basis. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
