Due to a change in scope, Service Brunswick (SNB) is re-tendering tender # 0613034-23 to meet the needs of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI). Bids from the original tender will not be considered for this re-tender. To be considered for evaluation, you must resubmit your bid. This invitation to tender consists of snow removal services on behalf of (DTI) at Region 1 Block "A" - including: Boyce Farmers Market parking lot; Centennial Building - 670 King Street (one lot); Corner of Regent St. & Brunswick St. lot; Soucie parking lot - Corner of Brunswick St. & St. John St. for a period of one (1) year from November 1, 2022 until October 31, 2023 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods in one (1) year increment upon written agreement by both parties. Option year pricing shall be subject to negotiation of a satisfactory contract price not to exceed the tendered price plus any published increase in the New Brunswick Consumer Price Index. CONTRACT AWARD CRITERIA Contract will be awarded to the lowest compliant bid which meet the requirements detailed within the attached Specifications for Items 1 through 4 of the tender documents. The intent is to award to one (1) bidder. In order to be considered, bidders must bid on all items. Prior to Contract award, (DTI) may consult with other departments and agencies of the Province of New Brunswick to obtain information on the Vendor's past performance within the previous five (5) years. Results from the aforementioned consultations that are unsatisfactory to the Department, in its sole and absolute discretion, will result in the disqualification of the Vendor's bid. Security Deposits are currently not being accepted, as per section 5 a) of the attached document. There are no additional pricing sheets to be completed with this bid. Vendors should bid directly on this invitation to tender. The price bid shall not include HST. In such cases, should the detailed contract negotiations not be completed in a reasonable period of time, the Province reserves the right to discontinue negotiations with the vendor and subsequently enter into negotiations with the second preferred vendor. The province of New Brunswick reserves the right to negotiate pricing, value added and other savings opportunities with the successful proponent at time of award and throughout the contract.
