The contractor will be required to install synthetic turf to the specifications provided in the scope of work within the contract document attached. The surface on which the new synthetic turf is to be placed has an existing concrete base. The turf contractor is responsible for any damage to the concrete base during the installation of the synthetic turf. The turf contractor is to verify all measurements, the area is approximately 13,920 sq ft. Bids submitted for this project will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after 2:00 p.m.in the City Council Chambers, Farmers Branch City Hall, 1st Floor.There will NOT be a pre-bid conference for this project. Until final award by the City of Farmers Branch, said City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive technicalities, to re-advertise or to proceed otherwise when the best interest of said City will be realized hereby. Bids should be submitted sealed and plainly marked with the name of the project, the bid number and the date and time of opening. Late bids will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. The deadline to ask questions is 7/03/2022 5:00 PM CST All answers to project questions submitted by 5:00 pm CST July 3, 2022 should be responded to in the form of addendum and posted to website 4-5 days prior to bid closing.
