Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
This project consists of clearing and grubbing, earthwork, erosion control items, relocating a portion of a perimeter road, seeding, mulching, and other incidental items necessary to complete the project. Bid Security equal to 5% of the total Bid is required in the form of a cash deposit or a Bid Bond. Contract Security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No Bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of Bids for a period of ninety (90) consecutive calendar days. Each Bidder shall be prequalified by North Carolina Department of Transportation, and any subcontractors shall be prequalified prior to start of work. Each Bidder must be properly licensed under Chapter 87, General Statutes of North Carolina (G.S. 87-15). Each Bidder shall certify, by submission of a proposal, that neither it nor its principals is presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participation in this transaction by any Federal department or agency or the State of NorthCarolina. The Piedmont Triad Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or to reject any or all Bids and to award or refrain from awarding the Contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Authority's best interest.
