Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) requires the services of an individual firm, or a joint venture, the Construction Manager (CM), to provide construction management services, for the revitalization of advanced electronics and photonics fabrication facility. The project aims to modernize laboratory facilities on behalf of the National Research Council Canada (NRC). The construction services will encompass the following three projects, all located at 1200 Montreal Road, Building M50, Ottawa: Project 1 : Advanced Technology Fabrication (ATF) Lap and Polish; Project 2 : ATF Chemical Bunker; Project 3 : Canadian Photonics Fabrication Centre (CPFC). The CM is required to provide the comprehensive services described in the TOR on an ongoing basis and respect PWGSC's high quality standards throughout all aspects of cost and time planning, estimating, scheduling, monitoring and control. The Construction Manager must perform the services and achieve Substantial Performance of the Work by no later than April 30, 2024, and project completion by no later that October 30, 2024. Project 1 - Advanced Technology Fabrication (ATF) Lap and Polish: Current hard construction cost estimate is $2,300,000 (HSTE). Project 2 - Advanced Technology Fabrication (ATF) Bunker: Current hard construction cost estimate is $3,500,000 (HSTE). Project 3 - Canadian Photonic Fabrication Centre (CPFC): Current hard construction cost estimate is estimated at $8,250,000 (HSTE).
