**As of August 10 2022, recommendation to award Lawrence M Clarke, Inc. for $1,101,380.00. The work begins by September 15, 2022, and substantially completed by December 15, 2022, with final completion by June 1, 2023. The proposed project consists of the construction of approximately 227 linear feet of 24 water main, via open cut, along Joseph Campau and Denton (West) heading south to Denton (East), and the installation of a new 12"water main from the proposed 24 water main in Joseph Campau and heading East for approximately 485 linear feet, within the City of Hamtramck. The anticipated start date, weather permitting, is April 15, 2024, and substantially completed by August 15, 2024, with final completion by August 30, 2024. The Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: City of Hamtramck Department of Public Works Clerks Hennessey Engineers, Inc., Southgate, Michigan Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal.
