As of July 17 2025 this is in late planning, and should go out to bid in a few weeks. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Boulder City ("the City") is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from interested and qualified firms for consulting services to prepare the design of the replacement of the existing, 40+ year old, irrigation system at the Municipal Golf Course. The new irrigation system will be connected to the City's raw water system. As part of the design, turf reduction and replacement with desert landscaping along the course and cottonwood tree removal shall be included. The design shall take into consideration that the water supply could eventually be a combination of blended raw water and treated wastewater effluent. The design must take into consideration that the existing irrigation system must be kept in operation to maintain tees, greens, fairways and other existing turf and landscaped areas that are to remain during construction of the new system. The firm may propose an alternate irrigation method to maintain these areas during construction. The contractor selected for construction will be allowed to close all 18 holes during construction.
