The US Coast Guard Sector New Orleans has a requirement to replace two compressors in a chiller, to include: The Contractor shall perform the following work within this project to remove and replace the existing two Cir-1 compressor units on #1 condenser, located on the 4th deck of Sector New Orleans. Contractor will provide and replace two compressor P/N ZP235KCE-YWD-251 units. Contractor will recover system refrigerant, and disconnect electrical and piping from the existing units. Contractor will disconnect and remove existing compressors from the #1 chiller. Contractor will connect all electrical, piping, and charge units with new refrigerant according to factory specifications. Contractor will leak test the unit with Sector representative present. Contractor will perform factory start-up of units with new compressors. Contractor will ensure proper cooling is maintained in the in the Sector building serviced by the #1 chiller and all equipment remains functional throughout the removal and installation process. Contractor will haul away any trash that may result from the work and leave the building just as it was before they arrived. Contractor will provide a one year parts and labor warranty for both new compressor units. Contractor will submit information of staff to Sector for proper screening and background checks prior to accessing any secured spaces. Contractor shall be certified HVAC technician.
