2022-2023 Supply of Hot and Cold Mix Asphalt and Aggregates Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, endorsed with the name and business address of the bidder and marked "2022 2023 Supply of Hot and Cold Mix Asphalt and Aggregates". We anticipate purchasing approximately $110,000.00 of road maintenance materials under this bid; however additional funds may become available which would allow us to purchase more. These dollar amounts are for bidding purposes only and are not a commitment of expenditures for this contract. This is a "Unit Price Bid". This will be a "Unit Price" contract for materials to be picked up at the bidder's hot mix plant periodically throughout the term. The contract term will be August 22th, 2022 through July 31st, 2023. The Town intends to award up to three (3) Unit Price contracts under this procurement. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of General Laws, (Ter. ED.) Chapter 30, Sec. 39M, et seq. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a licensed surety company, or a Certified check, or a Treasurer's or Cashier's check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the base bid payable to the Town of West Springfield. A Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price will be required of all Successful Bidders awarded a contract. The Town of West Springfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding if it be in the public interest to do so
