As of August 5, 2022, project was awarded to Midwest Paving, awarded amount is $200,451.50. The total bid price shall be clearly displayed on the top of the bid packet within the envelope. This project consists of, but is not limited to, the list below: List of Roads to be Paved Hayes St, Allen St, Garfield, and Meridian List of Alleys to Be Paved Lincoln, Evergreen, Stadium, Insurance, Wiggins, S Columbia, Harrison, Wood, and Hooka Bids must be entered upon the bid form and the State Board of Accounts Contractor's Bid for Public Work Form 96 (Revised 2013) submitted in triplicate with the bid and non-collusion affidavit properly executed and must comply with the statutes of Indiana and with the rules and regulations of the State Board of Accounts of Indiana. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope marked "2022 Neighborhood Resurfacing and Alley Paving Project". Forms are available at the Engineering Office, 222 N Chauncey Ave, West Lafayette, Indiana 47906. The bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price made in favor of the City of West Lafayette, Indiana, which amount shall accrue to and become the property of the City should the Bidder, awarded the contract, fail to enter into the required written agreement and secure same with the required one hundred percent (100%) performance, payment and guarantee bond. Wage rates shall not be less than the common construction wage as determined pursuant to IC 5-16-7-1 et seq. as amended. Bids remain in effect for sixty (60) days. The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities of bidding. The lowest & most responsive bid will go before the Board of Public Works and Safety for acceptance on July 19, 2022, and the Redevelopment Commission for acceptance on July 20, 2022.
