Liquidated Damages $250/per day Start/Delivery Date Anticipated Start Date: July 25, 2022 Project Duration 45 Calendar Days Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 07/05/2022 4:00 PM (PDT) Site work and installation of (3) district provided portable classrooms at jimenez elementary school The Contract will be awarded to a single Bidder who is determined by the District to be the lowest responsive responsible Bidder based on the total net base bid amount only. The District at its option may include the add alternate bid amount in the final award. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive irregularities or informalities in any submission or in the solicitation process. Proposals shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) days. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid bond by a guaranty company authorized to conduct business in the State of California, in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the sum of the total amount of the bid, including any options. Prime contractors who arrive late will not be permitted to bid. All Bidders shall be licensed under the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California to do the type of work contemplated in the Project. The successful bidder shall possess a valid Contractor's License issued by the Contractor's State License Board at the time the contract is awarded. The class of contractor's license shall be "B" or other applicable. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract before commencement of work and conforming to the contract documents. Each bidder is required to furnish and maintain proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance, Workers' Compensation Insurance, and all other insurance or certifications as required by the contract documents. The Department of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work for the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract. Copies of schedules of rates so determined are available on the Internet, (portal). This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder's sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding process.
