Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a mixed-use development in Tuskegee, Alabama. Design plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; for asbestos abatement for a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
The Contractor shall provide Architect-Engineer Construction Period Services (AE-CPS) in direct support of the construction contract awarded for the design project. Services will be performed by the Designer of Record to ensure the design intent is correctly executed throughout construction. Required AE-CPS services include construction submittal reviews, providing responses to contractor Requests for Information, executing design changes and potential design changes as needed, and attending site visits and construction-related meetings to support proper interpretation, adjustment, and implementation of the design. The intent is to retain the original designer to reduce lead time and maintain continuity of expertise for the project. This requirement is a follow-on to previously descoped contract 36C24723C0057, originally competed under Solicitation 36C24722R0103, and responses from qualified firms will be considered only for purposes of market research to determine whether a competitive procurement is appropriate. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
