The Tarrant County Hospital District d/b/a JPS Health Network (the "District") is seeking proposals for the provision of a Fire Pump Replacement. The District will reject any proposal that fails to comply in all respects with the instructions set forth herein for responding to this Solicitation. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE, even if you are a current or prior vendor for the District. The contract awarded, if any, under and pursuant to this Solicitation shall supersede any previous contract, bid, or GPO agreement for the products or services described herein. The District seeks to fully replace the current fire pump for the Tower of the main hospital that serves the Tower building standpipe and automatic sprinkler system. The replacement pump must meet the specifications set forth in this Solicitation, including Section D.7 and D.8 below. The awarded vendor must provide all labor, materials, permits, and testing equipment that are required to complete the fire pump replacement and must arrange and ensure successful inspection as required by applicable authorities. All systems will be commissioned in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 3, Standard for Commissioning of Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems, and NFPA 4, Standard for Integrated Fire Protection and Life Safety System Testing, as well as all other applicable standards and codes. b. Procedural areas and elevators require after-hours work due to complexity during regular work hours. c. Vendor must provide in writing a two (2) week notice to Customer for inspection dates. Customer reserves the right to reschedule an inspection or place an inspection on hold if deemed necessary. d. Vendor must provide dedicated personnel to monitor the fire alarms' condition at all times during any work or inspection that requires bypasses or monitoring to be placed on "Test" under this Agreement. e. Lifts and/or high-reaching tools may be required. It is the responsibility of Vendor to provide lift(s) and/or high-reaching tools at no additional cost to Customer. f. Dust buggies and/or HEPA vacuums may be required. It is the responsibility of Vendor to provide dust buggies and/or HEPA vacuums at no additional cost to Customer. g. Customer-owned equipment and spaces will NOT be supplied to Vendor without prior written approval. h. It is the sole responsibility of Vendor to obtain all permits required for services provided under this Agreement.
