High Efficiency Heating system Upgrades Notice is hereby given that bids will be received from qualified contractors to PURCHASE AND INSTALL two (2) Four hundred thousand BTU (400,000) gas fired condensing boilers with individual pumps for each boiler. The two additional cast iron pumps that circulate heating water throughout the building shall be variable speed. The venting of all of the boilers shall be type AL29-C stainless steel for the entire length. This is a three story 24 unit building AT The Housing Authority of City of Elizabeth MRAVLAG Building C 688 Maple Ave., Elizabeth, NJ 07202 According to the enclosed specifications and drawings described in general as: BASE BID: Remove and properly discard the existing boilers at MRAVLAG Building B and replace with two (2) Four hundred thousand BTU (400,000) gas fired condensing boilers with individual pumps for each boiler as well as new associated control panels, piping (copper), duct and electrical work. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. The work shall commence immediately upon award of Contract by owner and completed with due diligence. No bids will be accepted after the due date and time specified for any reason. They will immediately be opened with a State Monitor present as we can not have a public opening due to Covid 19 restrictions. Bid Packets will be reviewed for all documentation that is required with our State Monitor and bidding contractors will be called with all the bid amounts as well as the winning contractors name All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond made out to The Housing Authority of City of Elizabeth and Proceed, Inc. in the amount of 10% of the bid up to twenty-thousand dollars ($20,000.00) and shall include an appropriate Consent of Surety by an appropriate Surety qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey and listed on the Federal Register "Department of Treasury" Circular 570.
