Saving Project...

Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.

The responding bidders shall be experienced in Historic Preservation work and shall have a minimum of three (3) years' experience on successfully completed Historic Preservation projects of similar scope. The Bidder shall stipulate the amount of time in calendar days required to complete the Work. The Bidder shall submit a preliminary Construction Progress Schedule reflecting the ability to complete the Work the date established by the Owner. The Contractor shall be responsible for the cost of obtaining a Building Permit. All other required permits shall be obtained and paid for by the General Contractor or its subcontractors. The successful Bidder shall commence the work within fourteen (14) days of a written Notice to proceed from the Owner. Following the Owner's Notice to Proceed, the successful bidder shall not begin construction until a copy of the Building Permit is submitted to the Owner.
