Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a recreation facility in Miramichi, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the addition of a 182-square-foot, one-story above grade recreation facility; for the demolition of a recreation facility; for the renovation of a 282-square-foot, one-story above grade recreation facility; and for site work for a recreation facility.

Work for this project will be constructed under a single prime contract which consists of: .1 Addition: (see drawing) a) Provide and install new construction of a 15'x12' bedrooms addition and new bathroom walls in the existing section as per drawings provided. b) Provide and installation of new electrical wiring for new bedrooms and the washroom c) Relocating existing generator hook up to new addition as per drawing. d) Provide and install new stairs and landing to bear on 30"x24" concrete patio at the back of the camp with 2 sets of stairs as per drawing A2. .2 Existing building: (see drawing) a)Open wall at existing window location to make passage to the new building addition. b)Level up existing building with new structural beams and blocking as necessary. This work will have to be coordinated with site representative. Once skirting is removed (by contractor) and the best solution for levelling the building is determined (the additional work to level the existing structure shall be managed as a change order as there are a lot of unknown factors). c) Removing, temporary store on the site and reinstall the existing metal roofing panels d) Once existing metal roofing panels are removed; install synthetic roof paper over existing roof sheathing e) Provide and install 2" type II EPS Rigid insulation over the entire existing roof surface f) Provide and install new 5/4" x 4" wood strapping @ 24" O.C. horizontally on the entire existing roof surface g) Reinstall metal roof cladding with new on existing building roof as well as necessary eave trims to cover insulation. h) Construction of a washroom stall in existing building containing composting toilet (existing provided by C&P).
