Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Omaha, Nebraska. Working plans call for the construction of a 2,775-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; medical facility; medical facility; and medical facility.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC or University or University of Nebraska) intends to procure a qualified contractor to provide pre-construction services and construction services as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) for the Student Health Clinic project. The estimated construction cost for the CMR Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is $1,000,000. The scope of work includes approximately 2,775 square feet of existing second floor space of the Student Life Center to be renovated for relocation of a Student Health Clinic. The proposed design consists of four new (4) Exam Rooms and one (1) future Exam Room (to be rough in plumbed under this project), one (1) Office, and support spaces. An existing Electrical Room will remain. Contractors will have access to the existing first floor space below as well as access to the existing third floor space above the project area of construction. The campus bookstore is adjacent and north of the project area of second floor. The construction staging area has not been determined at this time. The existing floor slab is a concrete ribbed slab. All penetrations must be coordinated with existing beams. No exterior work is anticipated or part of the scope of this project. Existing construction type is II-B, B Occupancy, sprinklered.
