The Baytown Area Water Authority (BAWA) seeks competitive bids for Lagoon Sludge Removal. The purpose of these specifications is to describe the minimum requirements of BAWA for the Lagoon Sludge Removal contract. BAWA will furnish the Bidder with "as-built" specifications of the Lagoon. Bidder may review the lagoon specifications at 7425 Thompson Road, Baytown, Texas. The Bidder agrees that their bid is based upon the specifications of the lagoon regardless if reviewed or not. The Sludge Lagoon is 700 feet long x 9 feet deep x 118 feet top width sloping to 64 feet bottom width. Toe of slope is 3:1. The lagoon is to be dressed up to return the lagoon to its original specifications PROJECT TIME FRAME: The Bidder is to start the project within ten (10) days of notification to proceed. The Bidder has thirty (30) calendar days to complete the project. The workday will consist of ten (10) hour days, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The awarded vendor can provide their daily, proposed schedule to the site supervisor upon Notice to Proceed.
