Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Galesburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of March 6, 2024, per owner, they do not share project information. Per State of the City Presentation in November 2022, the engineering work for the path has been completed. Construction bid was to be in June 2023 with construction in July 2023. Engineer has been identified. The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites qualified firms to submit a sealed Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for the right of way acquisition and phase II design engineering services for the construction of a multi-use path located along the south and east side of Lake Storey. The City will award a contract for the SOQ that best meets the qualifications and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
