WORK The emergency/priority work, as directed by WJWW, to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all the necessary labor, equipment and material (to the extent requested by WJWW) for the emergency/priority repair/replacement/installation of certain water mains, water service connections, fire hydrants and other appurtenances and facilities within the Westchester Joint Water Works (WJWW) treatment and distribution system at various locations in the Village of Mamaroneck, Town of Mamaroneck, Town/Village of Harrison, New Rochelle, Rye, Rye Brook, Eastchester and Yonkers. Contractor must be able to respond within two (2) hours of notification by WJWW on a 24 hour / 7 day-a-week / 365 days-per-year basis (including holidays) and must be able to complete the work in a prompt fashion as directed by WJWW.The term of this contract is for a period of one (1) year. The contract may be extended for an additional one (1) year term at WJWW's discretion and with the Contractor's agreement with all prices, terms and conditions remaining the same as the original contract. With regard to the emergency/priority work under the contract.AWARD OF CONTRACT Bidders are required to submit: Bid Form Contractor's Qualification Statements (Related to staff, resources, projects completed/in- progress, financial condition, etc.) Non-Collusion Affidavit The WJWW reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities in Bidding. Bids may only be withdrawn by providing written notice at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the scheduled bid opening.
