The Town of Jena (TOWN) is seeking assistance for engineering services needed to prepare the application for a Louisiana Water Sector Program Grant (WSP) application and subsequent implementation of that program. The type of project involved is upgrade, replacement, and/or consolidation of water or sewer facilities for the TOWN. The TOWN is soliciting qualification statements for engineering services to assist the TOWN with project scoping, preliminary engineering, design engineering, and construction related services of the WSP in compliance with WSP requirements. If no project is funded by the Louisiana Water Sector Program, then no services beyond the application phase will be required. All responses received will be evaluated in accordance with the selection criteria and corresponding point system, which is identified in the package. The package also identifies the scope of services to be performed by the selected firm. The intent is to award a cost reimbursement contract with payment terms to be negotiated with the selected firm. The Town of Jena will begin negotiations with the respondent obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process.
