Renovation of a mixed-use development in North Platte, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of North Platte is seeking the services of a qualified business to perform the sheet overlay re-roof at City Hall and Municipal Light & Water. 1. Remove and reuse existing ballast rock on roof area. 2. Tear off existing EPDM rubber roofing membrane and all flashings, dispose in code legal dump. 3. Install new .060 mil EPDM reinforced membrane, over existing insulation per manufacturer's specifications. Material is Firestone RubberGard MAX or equal. 4. Flash in all exhaust vents, pipe flashings, roof drains and HVAC units per manufacturer's specifications. The City reserves the right to remove penetrations not utilized. 5. Install new tapered insulation around all drains to sump water, min. 8x8 area. 6. Install new 24 gauge steel edge metal around perimeter of roof area to match profile of existingmetal. Install new skirt steel metal around HVAC units as needed. 7. The roof system will come with a 15 year labor and material manufacturer's warranty. 8. Warranty response must be within 48 hours of notification. Successful bidder must intend to enter into a contract with the City for said work. The contract will stipulate insurance requirements. Bid must include all necessary plant, equipment, materials and labor for a complete project.
