Humphreys County will accept sealed bids for the Hangar Rehabilitation Project at Humphreys County Airport, Waverly, TN. Project Description: This project consists of the demolition of the existing 80 x 100 aircraft storage hangar with a lean-to, the removal of the existing airport lighting system vault equipment, construction of a new electrical vault building, relocating the vault equipment into the new vault building and construction of a new 80 x 100 aircraft storage hangar with a lean-to in the same location of the demolished hangar. Humphreys County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidders Bond on the form contained in the Proposal Book from a surety company acceptable to Humphreys County or a cashiers check or certified check made payable to Humphreys County for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid.
