Project U046 Osage Work on these projects includes removing and disposing of flowlines, concrete, gravel, debris, and tanks, removing a location pad, dispersing the weathered hydrocarbons, excavating and dispersing the hydrocarbons within a land farm cell, closing the pits, constructing a pond, applying amendments and grading designated areas, sodding, and planting seed. The OERB is no longer sending hard copies of the scopes of work or bid forms. All contractors must submit an online application prior to bidding on OERB projects. Directions to the site are included in the Bid Documents. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form included in the Bid Documents and in strict compliance with instructions on the form. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, before the time set for opening bids will not be considered and will be returned unopened. If the bid exceeds $50,000.00, a cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed bid of each bidder. Security checks will be returned to all but the three lowest bidders immediately after the bid opening. The three lowest bid securities will be retained until the contract is awarded. A contract must be executed within twenty (20) days following the award to the successful bidder.
