You are invited to bid (multiple primes) on Interior Renovation Package for a conversion of anexisting library space in the Riverside High School at 300 Davis Street, Taylor, Lackawanna County, PA. The Owner wishes to provide upgrades to the existing library space.Construction Start: Late September 2022. . Substantial Completion: TBD, Estimated December 2022 Questions from bidders regarding the building work shall be directed to Rick Malcolm at CAM architect (rmalcolm@camarchus.com or (570) 824-3320 x 103. No Bidder questions should be sent exclusively to the Owner. All questions from subcontractors and suppliers MUST be routed through the Bidder The Owner requires that all Bids shall comply with the bidding requirements specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner may at their discretion waive informalities in Bids, but is not obligated to do so, nor does it represent that it will do so. Under no circumstances will the Owner waive any informality that, by such waiver, would give one Bidder a substantial advantage or benefit not enjoyed by all other Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid before sixty days after the actual date of the opening thereof, unless a mistake to error is claimed by the Bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required for all work. Therefore the cost for providing performance and payment bonds is to be included in the base bid. Bid Security is required. Submitted bids must be accompanied by a certified check, or bid bond, bank cashier's of trust company treasurer's check as Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid made payable to the Riverside School District. If the bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into the contract after being given the award, the Bid security shall be used as liquidated damages for the Bidder's failure to comply. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory payment and performance bond with sureties acceptable to the Owner
