**As of September 27, 2022, project was awarded tO Delta Municipal but awarded amount is not available.** The City of Vidalia, Georgia, is seeking a highly qualified company to design, furnish and install an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI)system that provides for automated reading of water meters, infrastructure for transmitting and receiving data, hardware, software, and training. The selection of an AMI provider is being made through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process, which considers both qualitative (non-cost) and quantitative (cost) factors. The full RFP describes the project, the selection process, and all information that must be included with the submittal, including company qualifications and price proposal. Failure to submit information in accordance with the requirements and procedures in the full RFP may be cause for disqualification. In accordance with requirements of the City of Vidalia and the State of Georgia, all submitted qualification/proposal packages shall include an e-verify form. Each Submittal Package shall be in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Vidalia and clearly marked "RFP for Advanced Metering Infrastructure System". Submittals will NOT be accepted or considered after the deadline. Submittals will be considered non-responsive if proposing company is not on the "List of Proposers" prior to the bid date. Reservation of Rights: The City of Vidalia reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any Proposer if the City of Vidalia believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Proposer, whether because the proposal is not responsive or the Proposer is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the City of Vidalia.
