The City of Northampton invites sealed bids for proposed installation of a new ERV ventilation system in the DPW administration building located at 125 Locust St. in Northampton, MA. The project is estimated at $90,000. Work is projected to start in the fall of 2022. The Director of Central Services reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The HVAC Contractor under this section shall furnish all labor, materials, appliances, and equipment necessary for the installation of a new ventilation system and related ductwork and controls, in accordance with this section of the specifications and applicable drawings, and subject to terms and conditions of the Contract. B. The HVAC Contractor shall give to the Owner a written guarantee to replace or repair all work furnished by him and his subcontractors for all defects of material and workmanship which may become apparent during the period of one year from the date of acceptance of the work by the Engineer. C. The HVAC Contractor shall secure all permits and licenses, pay all fees, and provide all necessary insurance required to perform all work indicated on the drawings and specified herein. D. The ceiling tile and grid will be removed by others. Upon removal of the ceiling, the HVAC contractor shall install the new ventilation system, inspect and test the system before the new ceiling is installed by others.
