The project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to the repair of the deteriorated access stairs to the beach along Glades Road. This work shall consist of working in tidal conditions, Dig Safe notifications; verification of benchmark elevations; construction access and staging preparation; protecting property and structures to remain; demolition and disposal of portions of the existing damaged and deteriorated concrete access stairs, and associated structures, resetting of revetment stone, management and disposal of all associated demolition and construction debris; restoration of disturbed site access, staging, and construction areas. The work also includes butis not limited to all forms,reinforcing members, doweling, concrete, labor, survey, supervision, machinery, and materials required to complete the project as shown on the contract drawings for the proposed project located along Glades Road in Scituate, MA. The Project Base Bid will include repairs to the Grasshopper Lane Access Stairs with Bid-Alternates provided for the additional three access stair locations: Collier Avenue Access Stairs, Cliff Estates Road Access Stairs, and Northern Access Stairs.
