**As of September 22, 2022, this project has been awarded to Stenstrom Excavation & Blacktop Group in a total amount of $295,706.00. The Belvidere Park District invites bids on work required under the specification, which include all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to perform concrete sidewalk removal and replacement, surface and full-depth asphalt and parking lot removal, aggregate base re-shaping, full depth parking lot construction, pedestrian bridge removal, and replacement, vegetation and landscape material removal, light fixture removal and replacement, grading, restoration, and related work in accordance with the construction plans. All material that needs to be removed shall become the property of the contractor and shall be his responsibility to remove from site. The Contractor shall comply with the applicable Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and State of Illinois rules and guidelines governing removal of material. The Contractor shall verify all measurements, and identify materials and other conditions affecting the work before proceeding with the work. Please note that this bid will be awarded on a lump sum basis and individual units will not be measured for payment.
