North Carolina Central University (NCCU) is seeking bids from qualified electrical contractors for the purpose of establishing an Agency Specific Contract for labor and materials required routine and emergency repairs. Improvements, and maintenance services on an as needed basis. The qualified contractor(s) will be the annual service contractors for the University providing electrical repairs and improvements as needed for the University Electrical Department. The Vendor shall begin work under the Contract within ten (10) business days of the Effective Date. At the end of the Contracts initial term, the State shall have the option, in its sole discretion, to renew the Contract on the same terms and conditions for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms. The State will give the Vendor written notice of its intent to exercise each option no later than thirty (30) days before the end of the Contracts thencurrent term. In addition to any optional renewal terms, and with the Vendors concurrence, the State reserves the right to extend a contract term for a period of up to 180 days in 90-day-or-less increments.
