This project is to perform Asphalt and Concrete Street Improvements to S. Persimmon Street within the City of Tomball. The information for the pre-bid will be included in the information and specifications, and will be sent to all contractors requesting the bid specifications. . Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must accompany the BID. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid deemed advantageous to it and waive informalities in bidding. All bids received after the closing time designated will be returned unopened. During the period between the Request for Proposals or the Bid Solicitation, submission date, and the contract award, respondents including their agents and/or representatives/owners, shall not directly or indirectly promote their proposal or bid to any member of the Tomball City Council or City staff except in the course of City-sponsored inquires, briefings, interviews, and/or presentations requests. Violation of this provision may result in the rejection of the respondent's Proposal submittal. The City of Tomball reserves the right to accept or to reject any bids, to waive technicalities and to make any investigation deemed necessary concerning the bidder's ability to provide the product(s) required, and to accept what in its judgment is the most advantageous bid.
