Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Garden City, Michigan. Completed plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
As of January 5, 2024, construction of this project is underway and half-way completed, however, a exact construction timeline has not been confirmed. The proposed project consists of several additions to the existing building along with ADA renovations to the existing restroom facilities at Garden City Fire Department. This will include selective demolition and reconstruction of concrete block exterior and interior walls, new plumbing fixtures and flooring with the replacement of the existing roof of the entire building. The anticipated start date is March 1, 2023, and substantially completed by October 1, 2023, with final completion by November 30, 2023. The Truck Bay addition must be completed to store existing vehicles in a heated space before inclement weather. Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of bid opened.
