Renovation of a transportation facility in Norwalk, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: renovation of a transportation facility. As of July 7, 2022, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The Fusco Corporation (Fusco or Construction Manager) will be accepting Bids from contractors qualified to submit bids for a contractor to perform improvements to the Rowayton Train Station. The Owner of the Project is the State of Connecticut acting through the Department of Transportation (the State or Owner ) All bids shall be good for a period of Ninety (90) calendar days from the Bid Date. Should there be reasons why the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement. All successful Bidders will be required to furnish a Performance, Labor, and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total Contract Amount within ten (10) calendar days after the receipt of the Subcontract Agreement.
