Site work, outdoor lighting, remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; municipal facility; municipal facility; for outdoor lighting for a fire / police facility; municipal facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Jacksonville Beach is seeking submittal of qualifications from Architectural and design firms to develop complete sets of design documents that can be permitted for construction in response to a space needs assessment conducted in January 2021, along with construction contract administration services. Fees will be negotiated utilizing the Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act, Chapter 287.055, F.S., and a purchase order will be issued for the scope of work assigned under this contract. In summary, firm will provide 100% Architectural, Engineering, and Professional Services for the design documents for the remodeling and renovation work that will address the issues identified in the space needs assessment conducted for four (4) City owned facilities in Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250: 1. City Hall (11 3rd St. North), 2. O&M (1460A Shetter Ave.), 3. Police Station (101 S. Penman Road) and 4. Meter Shop (1460C Shetter Avenue) using a traditional design-bid-build delivery method. No verbal interpretations will be made of any response documents. Requests for such interpretations shall be made in writing or via email at Purchasing@jaxbchfl.net no later than Friday, July 15, 2022. Interpretation will be in the form of an addendum and issued to all Respondents. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
