Renovation of a residential development in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The Hispanic Housing Development Corporation (HHDC) is currently soliciting bids for lease unit repairs in our Scattered Sites Region 1 portfolio located in various locations. Questions must be emailed to: Saundra Bethley @ sbethley@hhdevcorp.com - Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 12pm (Noon) The term of the contract must be completed within 30 days of Notice to Proceed. Vendor must be able to provide enough manpower to complete all units within the 30 days Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, materials, transportation, warranties, permits, and equipment needed to complete the repairs identified in the attached scope of work. The scope of work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Package #1 = 5 units Repairs listed on the scope of work. All units are 1 BR Vacant units and listed below: The specifications listed in this scope are the desired materials. Contractors may propose equivalent items, which are subject to approval by The Hispanic Housing Development Corporation management. Contractor shall not supply or install any materials without prior approval from The Hispanic Housing Development Corporation management. Contractor shall, in addition to specifications contained herein, comply with manufacturer's specifications and recommendations for storing, handling, and the application of materials. Quality of materials and workmanship are the responsibility of the contractor. All material shall be suitable for safe and efficient use, any workmanship that is found to be unsuitable in the opinion of The Hispanic Housing Development Corporation representative, shall be replaced or redone by the contractor at no additional cost to The Hispanic Housing Development Corporation. Any damage caused by the contractor or resulting from his or her work shall be repaired, or damaged items replaced. Installation of all materials shall be in strict compliance with applicable laws and the latest rules and regulations of all municipal federal, start and other public agencies having jurisdiction, including those of the City of Chicago and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. At completion of each day's work, or as directed, contractor shall remove rubbish and unused materials from the job site and leave grounds clean. Use dumpsters in disposing of debris and other materials from the work area. Disposal of construction debris is the contractor's responsibility. Contractor shall notify Maintenance Supervisor upon completion of work for final inspection. Contractor shall properly clean job site and dispose of debris. Upon the conclusion of work, Vendor is responsible for ensuring all installations and repairs are completed correctly, and that all installed materials are fully functioning as intended. Contractor shall be responsible for being aware of all permit requirements and properly obtaining a permit should one be required. Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining a safe job site. All work and installations must be performed by a licensed contractor. Contractor is responsible for adhering to the provisions of all ordinances and codes of the City of Chicago. The contractor is hereby notified that they are required to comply with all applicable regulations for safety, including those of the Occupations Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for safety requirements. o Work procedure shall be such as to minimize inconvenience to tenants. Trucks and/or other heavy equipment shall not be driven over lawns, trees, and fencing. Any damage caused by the contractor or resulting from his or her work shall be repaired, or damaged items replaced. HOURS OF SERVICE: Maintenance Services shall be performed during regular working hours of 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Hours will exclude Holidays observed by the Hispanic Housing Development Corporation. The Contractor shall provide emergency callback for minor adjustment services. The term of the contract must be completed within 30 days ofNotice to Proceed
