The Smith County Board of Education is accepting bids for the installation of Conners Elastiplus gym floor at Defeated Elementary, Forks River Elementary, and Union Heights Elementary School. All bids must be on bid forms provided. No faxed bids will be accepted. The Smith County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids. GYM FLOOR SPECS FOR DEFEATED, UNION HEIGHTS AND FORKS RIVER A site visit to each location is mandatory FORKS RIVER: 1 Furnish and install Connor's Elastiplus, a 7+2 pad and pour system (7mm rubber pad with 2mm or urethane), directly over existing floor, using an Isolsport vinyl membrane on top of the existing floor for correct adhesion Defeated and Union Heights: 1. Demolition and disposal of the existing VCT floor 2. Scarify the approx. 76' long X 4' wide high spot down the side of gym (stage side) to get it level with the rest of slab 3. Shot blast the existing concrete slab to prepare it for the new floor system 4. Paint game lines for one main volleyball court 5. Furnish and install 1 pair of new volleyball cover plates (reuse existing sleeves FORKS RIVER, DEFEATED, UNION HEIGHTS: 1. Choice of one standard color for the entire floor color 2. Paint game lines for 1 main basketball court 3. Remove and re-install existing bleachers 4. Furnish and install metal thresholds at perimeter doorways OPTIONS: 2 COLOR CENTER COURT LOGO
