The project is expected to be awarded on September 11, 2022.** Bids shall also be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate of wages for their locality and project as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor on fi le in the Office of the U.S. Department of Labor. Not less than the prevailing wage scale shall be paid to any workman employed on this project pursuant to the provisions of the Davis Bacon Act (29 CFR Part 5) as amended and supplemented. All laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors on projects funded directly by or assisted in whole or in part by and through the Federal Government pursuant to the FAA shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with subchapter IV of Chapter 31 of Title 40, United States Code.. Bids received more than ninety six (96) hours before the time set for opening of bids, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
