Site work and paving for a civil project in Brampton, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Downtown Brampton Flood Protection. The works involves widening and deepening the Etobicoke Creek concrete channel through the Downtown, replacement of several bridges from Church Street to CN rail inclusive, relocation and reconstruction of Ken Whillans Drive, raising Church Street at Etobicoke Creek, and creating additional valley storage for floodwaters in the floodplain immediately north of Church Street. TIMELINE: The detailed design for the Riverwalk project is progressing. City consultants have completed site surveys, tree inventories, geotechnical investigations and other work along the Etobicoke Creek waterway. Construction of flood protection works is anticipated to begin in 2025 and be completed in 2028. Further update may be spring 2025.
