Cal Poly is seeking interested and qualified landscape architects who wish to provide campus landscape planning and schematic landscape design services for the University. The scope of work for any one project may involve all phases of project development and may include, but not be limited to, the following: Project administration, management and consultation services. Provide a primary design manager and point-of-contact for the University. Provide development of a planning and project program, conduct work group sessions, as well as conceptual testing of the program. The project program is the operative document that will describe the use, scope of work for minor site/civil improvements, hardscape, irrigation and planting projects. Landscape architectural services to support design, bidding, and construction of the proposed landscape improvements. The authorization of construction documents, bidding, and construction administration will be dependent on determination and approval of project funding sources. Consultant services are intended to begin September 2022. The first phase of projects are anticipated to start construction in Fall of 2022. Time will be of the essence for each project. The consultant team will be expected to have the resources to commit to an accelerated schedule. The inital term of the Agreement will be two (2) years with an option to extend on an annual basis to a maximum of three (3) additional years. The three (3) projects listed below are designated as high-priority projects and the University is asking Consultants to provide schematic design cost proposals for evaluation. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
