The School District of Greenville County (SDGC) invites responsible firms to submit bids to inspect and repair all District owned Personnel Lifts throughout the county. The Program Specifications may be found on Page Seventeen (17) of this solicitation. The work shall be performed in accordance with the Program Specifications and the Terms and Conditions of this solicitation. Questions or comments regarding this solicitation document or the process shall be forwarded, in writing, to Mr. Jeffrey S. Knotts, Director of Procurement, and Mrs. Tonya Stroud, Senior Buyer, 2 Space Drive, Taylors, South Carolina 29687. Email addresses are: jknotts@greenville.k12.sc.us and tstroud@greenville.k12.sc.us. Inquiries and comments shall be delivered to the Procurement Department no later than July 12, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. Verbal questions/comments shall not be addressed at any time. After the Inquiry Deadline, the District will issue an addendum to address any questions or changes. Any addenda will be posted on the Procurement Department website. Questions and comments received after the Inquiry Deadline will not be addressed. The initial term for this contract shall begin from the date of award for one (1) calendar base year. The District reserves the right to extend the contract for a period not to exceed up to four (4) additional one (1) year period(s) upon the mutual agreement of both parties. The award/contract shall not exceed five (5) calendar years in total. This program is to be completed in accordance with all terms, conditions, and specifications contained or referenced in this solicitation. The Program Specifications section should be consulted for a complete detailed description of the work / services to be perform. The District seeks to establish discounted pricing for the inspection of personnel lifts based upon a percentage discount taken from the bidder's standard price. Insurance None required. Liquidated Damages None required. Bid Security None required. Performance and Payment Bonds None required. The District reserves the right to accept or reject, in part or in entirety, any or all bids or portions of bids submitted by any Vendor and to waive any informalities or technicalities so as to purchase in the best interest of the District. The District reserves the right to interpret the acceptability of the proposed services when meeting the intent for use as determined by the end user.
