The proposed improvement consists of the following approximate quantities: 3,784 cy earth excavation, 2,725 sq yd sodding, salt-tolerant, 5,165 sq yd aggregate base course, type B, 10", 1,981 feet of storm sewers with various diameters, classes, and types, 26 manholes and frames of various types and diameters, 31 inlets of various types with various frames and grates, 3,321 feet curb and gutter of various types. As an alternate 4,803 sq yd PCC pavement, 7" and 2,192 sq ft stamped colored PCC pavement or 4,803 sq yd HMA pavement (full depth), 244 sq yd stamped asphalt crosswalk, 10,806 pounds bituminous materials (prime coat), and 4,322 pounds bituminous materials (tack coat) and all other necessary items and incidentals required to complete this project according to the plans and specifications. This is a prevailing-wage project. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. The bid award will be made by the Village Board, and the decision of the Board will be final.
