The Marshall County, Indiana, Unsafe Building Board is seeking quotes for a demolition of 15910 Olive Trail Plymouth, Indiana ("project"). The project includes the demolition of one structurally unsound, vacant, and dangerous house located on 15910 Olive Trail along with the clearing of debris within the 50' area surrounding the house to be demolished. The property has several structures, but only the house and the 50' area surrounding the house is subject to the demolition order. The building subject to demolition is located on the Southwest area of the property. All debris and trash in the 50' area surrounding the house are to be removed and no other structures on the property are to be disturbed. No quote shall be withdrawn after scheduled closing time for receipt of quotes for at least forty-five (45) days. The County reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, accept all or any part of any quote received, to waive any and all informalities in quoting, and to accept the lowest and/or best quote.
Pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-9-11(c), further notice is provided that this action is to enforce an unsafe building order previously issued by the Marshall County Unsafe Building Board Enforcement Authority and affirmed by the Hearing Authority to Howard J. Schillaci, Phillip Schillaci, April Schillaci, Jennifer Sandrey, Dale Mcnab, Shannon Forsythe, John Thomas, Ann Thomas, Lorie Peters, & Mark Peters as persons with a known or recorded interest in the identified property. Upon opening of the quotes, a contract is to be let to a licensed contractor to accomplish work to comply with the order. Both the quote price of the licensed contractor who accomplishes the work and an amount representing a reasonable estimate of the cost incurred by the County in processing this unsafe building matter, if not paid, may be recorded after a hearing as a lien against all persons having a fee inter est, life estate interest, or equitable interest of a contract purchaser in the unsafe premises.
