The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to improve Brick Road between Radio Road and the northern city limits by clearing and grubbing; removing existing sidewalk, pavement, curb and gutter, and subgrade; pavement planing; surfacing and hot mix asphalt paving; constructing stormwater conveyance and treatment facilities; constructing cement concrete curbs, sidewalks, and driveways; constructing cement concrete curb ramps; pavement markings; roadside restoration; water pollution and erosion control; landscaping; sign removal and replacement; traffic control; and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete this project. The City reserves the right to extend the time for receiving and opening bids. If the time is extended, notice of the extension(s) will be given prior to the originally specified due date to each entity which has been furnished the Contract Documents by the City. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in a cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Ellensburg. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The engineer's range for the project is $1,700,000 to $2,000,000.
