The Village of Volente is seeking qualified contractors to perform a variety of right-of-way drainage maintenance tasks as required by The Village of Volente. This project will be treated as an Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity contract (IDIQ). The Village of Volente reserves the right to choose the best value for The Village and will consider unit costs provided for the bid items. The contractor selected shall have adequate experience with the following work activities and shall be able to perform any or all of the scope of work within the proposed contract duration. - Ditch line cleaning and regrading to achieve positive drainage. - Various sizes of culvert installations within the roadway pavement and along the right-of-way. - Concrete end treatment installations. - Dry rock rip rap installation. - Mortarted rock rip rap installation. - Shoulder repair work including saw cutting existing pavement, preparation and placement of type 'B' HMAC and type 'D' HMAC. - Installation of various culvert markers and advanced warning signage. - Restoration of disturbed areas. - Any and all traffic control operations necessary to perform the work activities requested. All proposed work activities shall conform to City of Austin and TxDOT standard specifications and details including any required traffic control operations necessary to safely perform the work. The contractor selected for this project will be required to coordinate with The Village of Volente City Administrator and the 3rd Party Owner's Representative prior to performing the work to verify scope and limits of the proposed tasks.
