The proposed work consists of furnishing and installing a new duplex pump station system in an existing wet well and other related work as shown in the Contract Documents and called for on the Proposal for Unit Price Contract. Copies of the Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained or examined at the office of Access Engineering Solutions, LLC, 1200 Irmscher Blvd, Suite B, Celina, OH. 45822. Each bid shall contain the full name of each person or company interested and shall be accompanied by a bond or certified check made payable to the Board of Allen County Commissioners, equal to at least ten (10%) percent of the bid upon the condition that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into within ten (10) days. A performance bond of one hundred (100%) percent of the amount of the contract, with satisfactory corporate sureties, will be required for the faithful performance of the work. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Allen County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Bureau. Bids shall be sealed and endorsed Brookhaven Pump Station Improvements, Allen County, Ohio, and addressed to the Board of Allen County Commissioners. No proposal will be entertained unless made on the blanks attached to the bound documents furnished by Access Engineering Solutions. Sealed bids must contain an original and one (1) copy of the Bid submission. No bidder shall be permitted to withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the time of opening bids. The Board of Allen County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject all proposals or to waive all informalities or irregularities in the bidding. This Contract will be awarded based on the lowest and best bid or the lowest responsible bid as approved by law.
