Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Greenburgh, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This contract generally consists of construction of a new 4 car parking lot, concrete sidewalks, drainage, and miscellaneous site amenities. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder pursuant to the provisions of the General Municipal Law. The Town Board reserves the right to determine responsibility based on an evaluation of the Contractors qualifications, experience, organization, finances, past performance, and other applicable factors. Each bidder must deposit with his bid a certified check of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a recognized Bonding Company, or a bid bond with a Bonding Company Licensed to do business in the State of New York, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Said deposit will be considered as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and furnish the necessary bonds and insurance for the work, if awarded to him, and will be forfeited to the Town of Greenburgh as liquidated damages if he fails to do so, within the specified time The Town Board further reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
